Chris: I ask you to please refrain from making those type of comments in PUBLIC, remember be a bigger person and either EMAIL THAT PERSON directly or email Tony (Random) to moderate...

Shadohh: I ask you to please refrain yourself from making comments like...

sorry, but thats a BS answer.
whatever your feelings are, it's Chris's company, and well at the end it's his say what he may divulge or not about his products, if you feel you're not getting the complete info on it, then please you may purchase other products... and no it's not helping everyone else, by you pursuing and pushing and pushing just to prove a point...

thank you tongue.gif

Bat ---

I agree it isn;t professional to comment like that - but some times I choose to take the hard A$$ approach, and I will be doing it again now -

I run CNK Performance Systems as a hobby - I don't need to take these types of comments from anyone - and I WON'T, I said it efore and I say it again.

"If you don't like the information I give you Shadoh, Skierd, Autobot (who should be banned!) Then DON'T BUY IT!" You three are clearly not even potential customers and are obviously being of no help to the community at all, instead all your questions are aimed at rocking the boat - this is why I chose not to answer any of them.

As I mentioned earlier - keep this forum CLEAN, or you will be banned! PERIOD! I have asked Tony to re-instate the ban for Autobot, and skierd's last comment about customer service got him a ban aswell! Shadoh - if you want to continue posting on this forum, behave yourself, if you don't like the way I run my company - take it off line and mail me, I don't want your abuse on this forum any longer!

Topic will not be closed, but will be used for constructive purposes ONLY!

Lantraluvr -

Boring the cylinder out the 85mm from the stock size is a little impossible with the 1.6 engine as there is not enough meat betweenthe cylinders to allow for such a large bore diameter....

Max you can go is around 1.5mm if yuo lucky --- and this is still on the limit. The norm would be to bore up to 1mm oversize - and I do have a semi forged piston for the 83mm bore.

You sure about that? On the 1.6 Beta?

What about from 77.5 to 82mm?

This is off-topic but dontlet others ruin it for the peeps who want CNK products. Plus, there is NO Flame Forum here at Hyundai AfterMarket sooo that means no flaming should be allowed.

Am I right or what, so lets get back on track about the topic at hand. If already answered to its fully extend than like BATLORD said so be it.

Movin out.............Roger That rolleyes.gif

Lantraluvr --

My mistake - I was talking about the 2.0 ... The 1.6 won't be able to bore out from 77.5 - even 80.5mm The material between cylinders aren't the thick.

If you want a larger bore diameter - I reckon go for a 2.0 swap and then bore it out to 83mm (I did this and it worked nicely - just the rebore got me 17CHP with the same boost.

Killer -- I agree 100%

Guys - here is a picture of the CNK piston cross sectioned in two pieces - I cut on to show you all the thickness of the crown/piston landing which measures 6mm thick.

Thought you might like to see this.
