Chris!
Are you saying that when the MAF maxes out at about 250WHP does your CNK ECU just transfer signals to MAP(with the MAP sensor installed of course and keeping the MAF in place) smile.gif smile.gif
Your also saying that our stock ECU now realizes that its MAP(after the 250mark) smile.gif

No Rob -

What I am saying is that the MAP sensor works ALL the time monitoring the boost pressure (positive pressure or vacuum) and accordingly fuels the engine without taking into account the stock ECU and it's sensors at all!

So when time comes for the MAF to max out - so what, ignore that, it migh max out , fair enough, but the fueling won't stop because of it..... the MAP sensor is running the fueling in any way and works 100% independantly of the MAF sensor.

IN THEORY this works, but has to be tested to confirm. It works on a Nissan SR20DT motor when it's MA maxes out, and I believe that this will work when the MAF maxes out on the Tiburon engines too, but wait a while till I can prove this.. I have something up my sleeve for this (Which I promsised BatLord about long time ago....)

I WILL beat this problem.... just a little time will tell.

About fueling, since you can't supply injectors anymore, what kind should I get? What is lostbuoy's injectors? And what if I go for low-impendance Eclipse injectors? Does the programmed tuning still work in this application?

Lostbouy has 550cc injectors that I used to supply.

The tuning on the ECU supplied with the turbo kit is tuned for these 550cc injectors. I recommendusing high impedance injectors with the CNK ECU.

So, would 440cc injectors work?

I would try RC Engineering for the 550's... or CAPA in Australia www.capa.com.au

If not - you have ful control of any size injector as Rob said with the CNK setup. Just bea aware that when you choose your injector --- try to choose something according to the power you intend to make in a couple of months time, as you might run out if you intend boosting the car more as time goes by.

So I might go with low impendance Eclipse injectors then. I'll just re-tune the ECU myself.

well i be nice
the turbo forum has plenty of posts
of where to source injectors

and unless you plan on running only one injector
you must use high impediance injectors on the cnk ecu
wich has also been covered
