will cnk ecu work with 550cc low impediance injectors because rc enineering does not make a
550cc high impediance injector

ps: if not what are our other options

 

HOW low is low?

Whats the resistance? The lowest you can go with the output driver is 4 ohms total impedance

 

well rc engineering LOW impeince are
2.5 / 3 OHMS so there a no go


So who else makes 550cc that would
work

because rc engineering say
the biggest they have for our cars is 440cc
whats the max hp for 440cc injectors with the
CNK ecu

 

Not sure who would make these ---- I can supply 700cc's but thats a little big for your setup.

The max WHP you should get out of the 440cc's would be around 270WHP or thereabouts. I know we maxed out at 321WHP with the 550cc's on the beat engine.

 

4ohms per injector or 4ohms from all the injectors?

If its 4ohms per, then you'll need high impedance. If its 4ohms all 4 combined, you can run low impedance injectors.

If i remember correctly the cnk is batch fire
so all injectors fire at the same time
so you would have combine the resitence
of all the injectors IE:16+16ohms=8


ok i found a place that has some lucas
injectors but what other info would they need
for fitment of fuel rail and intake manifold
or a lucas part number

And if it can drive 6@16 ohm can it drive 4@12 ohms

WILL these work MSD INJECTORS or these Delphi

Ps: all my calculations say more about a 2ohm load

ok 14 volts 7amp max output = 2ohm load
6 injectors @ 16ohms = 2.66 ohm

just some food for thought

It will run 4 12ohm injectors no problem.
