Actually, the RD2 headlight cowl isn't hard to take out at all.

I can take out the ones from the spare headlights I have and send them to you if you want.

 

A wiper cowling mold huh? Put me on the list.

 

Just a note on the headlamp cowling that has gained alot of interest- check your local laws about modification to the headlamp assembly. This would be illegal in South Carolina.

^^ No sir. It's legal to transport nitrous just about everywhere. You can call it transporting nitrous by simply disconnecting the mainline. It's legal to use nitrous as soon as I get off of this federal installation I reside on. I don't understand why people think nitrous is illegal, or why people make laws against nitrous. Why aren't there laws on turbocharging your own vehicle? Because if it's done right, and used properly it's safe.

I've been wrongfully pulled over 3 times for my HIDs, but each time I've proved it's perfectly legal.

I do research before I do my modifications. I'm just looking out for people.

 

Im pretty sure street use of N2O is illegal everywhere. And how often do you disconnect your bottle?

^^ NO. I know this is off topic, but I must dispell this rumor. Immagine a turbo that kicks on with no lag... That's nitrous. That's all there is to it. People have seen fast and furious too much and think it's strictly for street racing. It's fine to use it to get speed on the steep on-ramp to get on the highway or for that extra boost of power, when flooring it just isn't doing the trick. Nitrous is legal where I live. I contacted the City, County, State, and federal installation authorities. City- legal, County-legal, State-Legal, The MPs told me not to use it on post, so I keep the switch off. As soon as I leave Fort Jackson, I can flip it on and boost nitrous all day long. I have about 5 minutes of use for a full $35 tank. With my driving habits, that's about 4 hours of in-town driving.

Depending on where you live, and if the cops want to be a dick, a CF cowel could get you a ticket for just parking your car down town and walking inside. If nitrous is illegal where you live, then you could just cover it up. You can't really cover your headlights though.

Quit your b***hin DTN, Nitrous is illegal to use in almost ever state, and illegal to even have in your car in most states. Dont start yelling because of something like that.
