Wanted to start a thread for carbon fiber overlays. As more questions/parts requests get posted I can put together a price list for the available parts. Overlays / wraps are a time consuming and costly process, sometimes it might be better to do a replacement part if the demand is there for it. So post up a pic or link of the item you have in mind and I can start the Overlay price listing

Permanent overlay items include:
- Body Kits, bumpers, skirts. etc.
- Strut Braces (round/square/multi-tube it can all be done)
- Spoilers / Wings (OEM, Aftermarket)
- Interior items (dash pieces, handles)
- Exterior items (headlight trim, gas door lids)
- Just about anything else you can think of.

Overlays can also be done with any colored Kevlar/Carbon fabrics in any available weave pattern. Please indicate in your request what style or colors you might like used.

If you want a special request that you don't want anyone to know about, just send me a PM or email info @ compactdivisions.com

Some of the pics are kinda horrible, sorry, they're older pics before I got the hang of taking pics of composites

maybe this thread could get stickied too smile.gif

can you provide just a durable sheet of carbon fiber that can be cut to size and shape. It would have to be thick enough to go at the exterior of the car and I only need about 2' x 2' piece but any size would do. What do you think?

About how much for the center flat part of the RD1 Tiburon spoiler? I wouldnt need the end "fin" pieces or center support post overlayed, just the flat mid section. I'll post a pic if you need to see what Im talking about.

I still want a carbon fiber type r spoiler. Oh yeah, and the shift surround for an automatic, cigarate compartment, drink holder compartment, and passenger side door panel, too.

The whole wing would be about $260ish. Bases and end plates. Center section by itself figure about $180

Those aren't really a part you could take off and send to me. I would need to take a mold for those

No need for an overlay, a member here has just sent a spare cowl to me to make a mold from wink1.gif

so you CAN do a overlay with silver CF eh?

I was told you couldn't cause texalium has aluminum strands in that don't allow to make crazy bends and curves.
