ECU upgrades offered?

No. Not needed for all of them either I'm told.

would you need piggyback or standalone to tune these cams inorder to run them in your car n/a?

Most likely not, but David would know the best.

Redz, you might not need the ECU upgrade with the 1st cam, but the rest of them are pretty damn agressive and tuning will be a must!

David just posted on Kspec.com that you need some sort of tuning with the higher cams.

I'd recommend getting the 270* IN/EX cam. The rest are a bit too agressive for daily driving. You will need to raise your rev limiter because these cams will provide more power up top, like honda engines do.

Rev limiter raised, new fuel and timing maps, lighter valvetrain parts, new cam springs, etc will be needed for reliable driving.

I could offer to reprogram the stock ECU to remove the rev limiter and to change the fuel and timing maps some.

Would be about ~$200 + shipping, I guess, and you would have to send the ECU to me.

However, it will be kinda impossible to "tune" without the actual cams. Removing the rev limiter would be easier, of course.

Just get a PRS standalone so you can do everything needed. The PRS4 is $675 shipped, and the PRS2 which is all you need would cost quite a bit less.

How would the 270 compare to the 1.8L cam/ the XD/GT cam?

How much of a difference are we talking HPwise?

The 1.8 and XD/GT cam aren't going todo much for your car, maybe a couple of horses.

Some more agressive cams will DEFINATELY give you a decent increase, even more with boost.
