you are still on crack because you shouldn't be using such agressive cams with turbo!

WTF? They are MEANT for turbo. There are two types, one for n/a, one for turbo. Crackhead.

With a correct setting, 15-20 hp can be gained.
Yes it is not a big number compared to turbo's 50~100hp gain.

Still don't see where he got 100hp...

100hp was refered to the turbo, not to the cam....

And no matter what you say, I would not put those cams on a 300-400whp turbo car... too much overlap

Again, WTF Crackhead? Where do you see the specs on the overlap? It's not like you can't take it away with gears anyways.

Redz!
Just wondering if Kspec offers Stronger Performance valve springs for the BETA.
This would be best espically when changing Cams which are offered.
If im not mistaked RPW sells them but if Kspec has them that would be better..

actually overlap in a turbo car helps spoolup by scavenging the exhaust faster and pulling in intake air because of the exahust impeller creating a exhaust gas vacuum

so it pulls exhaust gas out and pulls intake air in a tad

i forget where i read this but i remmeber there was alot of tech info in it where i was like HRM

BTW the evo guys run 272 cams all day long in their cars and get good streetability

I read about that on DSMtuners. They say that it's better to have a little overlap because it pulls out the "used" air, and allows more fresh air to fill the chambers, generating a better combustion.
