Do you guys think this will be good for turbo? not being 3 inch and all, see the only reason i mentioned the turbo back is because they make them for other cars, and they sell a turbo back muffler. I saw it on ebay haha, its universal =P, so i just figured they had a 3inch turbo version all the way back =/ o well guess not boo hoo

Yeah, but I screwed up remember? I got my new Maintec GT headers ceramic coated, before I paid attention to the bung issue. So, now I've got them coated, one bung before the cat that I need to put in, and this nice expensive exhaust coming in.

LOL

o2 bung already in will save me a bit of cash and keep it looking clean I hope, now just to find a o2 sensor harness extension.

turbo back works fine for some cars but with us the only kits for us are custom basically and it would be impossible to make a turbo back exhaust because they wouldnt know the type of turbo or manifold or any of that. im kind of surprised they dont make a 3" catback though

Well ya see eric, they do make 3 inch catbacks for alot of cars, which is why i do not understand why they cannot just build the exhaust with our flanges on it =P, but hey, ill live with the 2.5incher then go custom if i decide to go with insane boost in the future... although if i ever get that kinda money itl prolly go towards another car as I slowly mature the tib to full race spec or show. Its all up in the air, thats what makes life interesting =P

No other cars follow our exhaust path that we know of, hence they just can't "slap some flanges" on it.

They could build a 3in off the design of the 2.5, as they'd be close, but there wouldn't be any market for it, hence wasted effort.

I'll have my guys do a 3" using the same path as these later. But probably quite a bit later.

Redzman, just use some wire from an old heavy duty orange extension cord, that has the ground prong, as long as its a high amperage extension cord, when you cut it and get the inside wires out, they should be well sheilded, thats what I used and it looks good and works good. be sure to solder the wires, DONT just wire nut them.
