I'm sure SR is just as frustrated with the whole ordeal as you.
Im sure they are but that is no reason for not informing your customers. When they had problems with the first supplier they eventually informed us of this, although that took a long time. I was happy with this although there had been problems and the project was being restarted i knew where i stood. You could bet that if everyone was kept informed, by means of one email forwarded to everyone, most of the people wanting thier money backwould have been happy to wait. The lack of info and email replies is the main problem.

For those of you who are unaware or just ignorant to the situation, i will fill you in. A good part of us HAVE asked or i guess you could say PLEADED for our money back. It has done about as much good as asking for money back on those diet and metabolism pills. RARE updates and NO customer service response is bad practice. Up till this item i purchased i have been ok with this company DESPITE paying 600 for a hood that was broken in multiple spots when i recieved it. Getting a TB with a BAD TPS and getting clear corners for a first gen TIB that did not have proper connectors in them so i had to jimmy rig. The free halogens they sent were the wrong ones and THEY WONT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! Im done with buying ANYTHING with them until i see some RADICAL business practice changes. I like the board here and i enjoy reading about mods to tibbys but im not touching mine again till a local company will supply the parts. I emailed scott@shark racing and he was so kind as to say,

"Thank you for your extended patience. Your euro lights are shipped out directly from the Korean office. I only handle order status inquiries from Nov 20th on, but I will forward your email to customerservice@sharkracing.com, they handle all inquiries before that date. You can also contact them at 760-721-1177 during the hours of 9-5pm PST."

WOW thanks for the help...but....WHERE IS THE MONEY I ASKED FOR?? it wasn't even addressed. I asked him for my MONEY...not info.

Thank you,

Scott - TSR

I feel ya.

Remember when we all used to talk shiznit about HDK?

Funny, I bought some guages thru them and got em in 5 days, I bought some business cards thru SR and it took 7 months and a BBB complaint, and they STILL got the cards wrong.

What i am MOST happy about is that this thread is out here for us. My biggest problem with the euros isn't that they aren't here(but its up there), but that we the customers who should mean the most have not been taken care of. We have had noone and nowhere to complain to each other as a group. It feels good to see im not the only one who is trying to figure out how i got REEMED by SR for $200. I figured if they were gonna screw me it would have happened when i bought that hood but no, they sent me that and jip me on the stupid tail lights? Talk about a way to make some FAST easy money. Offer a large group of people a product that they want badly then take "PREORDERS" for it and then pretend they dont exist and dont pay attention to them when they ask about the fake product. These "COMPLETED" euros have been headed for the US coastline for months now and still not one SINGLE picture of a finished product. Most of you take pictures of your bodykits while its still half a** hanging off because u are so excited to show it...and we cant even get a PICTURE of a completed tail light. Please, by all means if you were taken by SR on this euro trash post a message so the rest of us can laugh and see there are others with us. I would sure like to try to calculate how much money WE the public have been screwed out of.

I remember when the 2nd gen euro's were planned, then came out, instantly. No one was "reemed" or anything, so I'm 100% positive Shark Racing isn't trying to steal your money, they are having problems beyond their control.

Well I just can't seem to believe that a company who brags about bringing in such big figure numbers a year would allow another company (whoever is manufacturing the lights) take advantage of THEM. If it is true that the problem isn't w/SR, then what is SR doing to control the problem they are having w/the other company that's had their product for well over a year? You better believe SR won't allow themselves to get screwed (especially when it comes to money issues). Something just isn't right...especially because it isn't just this product people are still waiting for. There is a common underlying theme here.

Look, all I'm saying is that I was one of the first to order euro lights for the 2001 Tiburon and they were here in less than two weeks... from Korea. Everytime I order something from them, it gets to me in 2 weeks. I really don't think you would make any money in the long run by screwing previous customers, after all there is how many people selling parts for Hyundai? You can probably get all the major stores counted on your hands, so it's more important to keep customers coming back, rather than just getting them to buy one thing. If you think your not going to get them, or if you don't like that there isn't updates, then ask for your money back (e-mail isn't a "perfect" way of communicating, you might try calling them) then, you can try to order these... Altezzas.
