^^^^ good idea on using the DSM SMIC.

our cars will also be fine turning up the boost a little bit more. Im sure you could get away with 12psi, as long as you intercool it.

theres alotta unichip places popping up around here.. and i talked to one of the guys who was in the training, and he said that in the past couple years, there has been more training around the country for unichip tuning..

so thatll be good for everyone..

QUOTE (hamhead @ Nov 2 2006, 06:26 PM)
I got the entry level (non decompression, non intercooled) because a few things:

1) I'm a poor college student cool.gif
2) I don't like the idea of decompression gaskets
3) I'll probably use my old sidemount intercooler from my DSM and fab the piping for it, shouldn't be too hard. I'll stick it where the battery sits now. So I couldn't justify the extra $450 for the decomp gasket/intercooler. I probably could've gotten the intercooler and piping with no gasket for $250, but my method is cheaper at the moment as I'm stretched for cash.

I was interested in the supercharger, but superchargers being less efficient, even against something small like a TD013H turbine, and non-intercooled didn't float my boat too well.

Hey Hamhead,

Are you the person that phoned in the order the other day? If so just to let you know all we're waiting on right now if for your BetaI Downpipe to be fabbed up and then it will be ready to ship.

Yep, my mom ordered through the phone for me.

Thanks for the update. cool.gif

Hopefully it doesn't get here too early before I can do it, I can't stand having parts waiting to be installed. I can see myself having one too many beers at college and deciding to do a turbo install at 3 in the morning. lmao.gif

Well there will be a slight delay in shipping your kit. The guy we have make the downpipes made the wrong ones. He made some for the T28 in the Stage 1 kit instead of the one for the Entry kit. You kit should still ship by the end of the week though.

Kit was shipped on wed. Sorry for the delay. I forgot that John needed to mock up and weld on your oil pan fitting. You should be very happy with your kit. You can call me @ 720-353-9986 if you have any problems with the install. We don't have Beta I specific instructions but the Beta II ones will work except for the Unichip installation. I believe John sent the correct Unichip install guide with your kit. If not let me know.

You can go here to view/download the BetaII Entry Level Instructions.
