well the aftermarket shifters are a lil closer, well alot closer, and i could easily see someone not wanting to have shifts that close.. a short shifter really doesn't make THAT much difference, it just feels like it does, an experienced guy could shift just as fast with the stock shifter, and would be less apt to miss a shift.

the engine is comeing out in about 2 weeks from now or sooner it. depends all on if i get the skyline r34 back together. we are just backed up with cars and projects now.. we will also be turboing a XG

????? you can still miss a shift, and grind when racing.. lol and its not really insanly effective if you know how to shift.. and you can still accidently go to put it in 1st intead of third, and you just turned your short shift into a really long one, lol.
