Like he said, your wheel size won't lower it and yes 6x9's in the rear.

not trying to be an ass but
"For conventional ride height checks, a tape measure or ruler is usually all that's needed. Just remember that changes in the wheel and tire size will affect your readings. If tires or wheels on a vehicle have been replaced with ones that are taller or shorter than the originals, it will increase or decrease ride height if you're measuring between some point on the vehicle and the ground. So always check the wheel and tire size on the vehicles prior to taking your measurements."

difference in diameter of rims changes the mounting height which in turn will raise or lower the height of the car.
thanks for the speaker info biggthumpup.gif

haven't updated this in awhile, school and work have kept me from getting much done on the car.A couple weeks ago i replace all rotors,2 front wheel bearings and a rear wheel bearing. The car goes for a new windshield on tuesday then it's road worthy at last.
I had some time last night to pick at the car so i installed my cd player and my front speakers. All went well, deck install took about 10 minutes start to finish as i had the harnesses already connected. All i have left for the stereo is running all my amp and sub wires and installing my rear speakers.
Took some pics along the way so here they are nothing great by any means.
Deck in
DS panel off
Panel off and speaker
kind of hungry...i'll add some more later
guess i didn't take many on the ds...so gere we go on the ps
ps starting off
door panel off
door panel off stock speaker intact
stock speaker removed
My mtx 6.5s to replace my stock speakers
stock speaker still screwed into it's housing
stock speaker in the housing from behind
screws i used to mount the mtx speakers in thier new home
new speakers in,i got 3 out of 4 screws in,the stock gold on and 1 on each side,so it worked out great
all in all the deck and speakers worked out great, very simple install. but it's the same with every car haha.
also got the 2 back side windows tinted, turned out very nice, the cuts look like hell from inside bu you can't see them from outside so it's ok for now. i'll get some pictures of that soon.
anybody have any helpful tips on removing he bottom part of the rear seat,i have the 2 bolts out but still can't seem to get it. thanks for the help guys.

actually it was a christmas present from the gf,didn't think i'd like it that much but after it was installed it looks pretty good,it's simple to use,not flashly with a billion buttons and it has an aux port for the iphone she also go me haha. i'll be finishing up my system with mtx components so it should sound good anyway,it's not just the deck that makes the music.
As far as the price i think it was actually $80 for it here,i live in pei so yeah haha.
how do you find it works for you?
