haha, yes it has been done then. I tried doing it on my car but I had a CEL but I'm pretty sure the sensor itself was garbage. Haven't had a chance to swap a good one in there.

Anyway, what happened, you sold it?

Yep. I did it on the Tib and just did it again on the '06 Elantra...

Cut the piece out of a U-bend.

Yep. I sold the Tib to some kid here in Vegas. His dad bought it for him. I actually tried to convince them that maybe this wasn't a very good first car since it required constant tinkering. I took the son for a ride and raced an SRT-4. Spanked it and the kid was sold. Let the dad drive it and he wanted it as much as his son. I do miss it, but the Elantra's more practical and can be built to make the same power.

BTW, I just read about you an Jed getting hitched. I knew you two were dating and were getting serious, but missed the news of your nuptials. Congrats.

LOL. The "8A xxxx" is a theme I've had going since the '90's. Had "8ACOBRA" on my '97 WS6. I was in the process of building up my 350Z before I decided it's a lemon. When I finished it, it was gonna get a "8ASUPRA" plate. My next car's likely gonna be an E55. It's getting "8A M5". lmao.gif
