The thing is I AM NOT A TUNER/RICER. I DO NOT CARE. I make small little improvements to make my car a little bit better. Around here, everything is stock (Tiburons anyway). How can I fit in if NO ONE around me has this look? Seriously now, that makes absolutely no sense. Would I go and spend a few hundred dollars to fit in with people on an internet message board? Because honestly, that's probably the only sense you could make, and even then it's ass backwards. I am not trying to make the hottest car in the neighborhood, nor am I trying to make it the Skittles rainbow. I'm sorry if you couldn't handle my criticism of telling you to stop with your car. You need to learn how to control yourself and your money. You really are ruining your car with the more paint you put on it, and I wish you would see that already. I say what I do for HELP, not for harassment. It's cool that you want to roll around your hood with a pimped out car, but that's not how I am. Not everyone with a Tiburon wants to dump overkill on it.

The thing is though, I don't drive around like I own the road, or that I'm hot sh*t just because of Altezzas. I got the Altezzas because it blended nicely with my car and I'm not much of a fan of the lenses that can go over the stock tails. I am NOT into tuning, ricing, or modding. I make small improvements or modifications to suit my own taste. I'm not painting my car colors, spending thousands of dollars to get a kit, or do anything to my car for no reason. I'm going away in 4 months to live on my own and go to a different college. Do you really think I have the money to waste on my car? Absolutely not. It's hard enough to get a few hundred dollars for simple rims. I'm really not trying to be lippy, but I don't like when people talk down to me like they know why I do certain things, or why I don't do certain things. This topic was made since a few people asked to see my car lately, and that's it. I'm not posting it for attention or to seem like I have an ultimate car, nor do I act that way. I just posted because people asked me to.

 

I totally empathize. It's tough to spend lots of money on a car that's basically just transportation that happens to look good (especially when you're going to college). At least you know that if you do what you like to car (and not just what's trendy) you won't be laughed at in a few years. I think sometimes less is better on a car, and yours looks well kept. I have to agree that rims would totally make it hit though. If you ever do have extra cash and want rims ebay is a good place to get them (I think I paid like $150 for my last set). I've never been a big fan of those tails, but they do look really good on a black tib! Anyway, lookin' good!!

 

ok well I guess I was a little off-base.Its cool that you dont want to be like everyone else.And thats what Im trying to do.(well, not with the paintjob).The only reason why I AM painting it by hand is because I want to get a feel for how that particular color will look on my car before I go ahead and drop major money on gettin it said and done.Some cars look good stock and some, like our tibs, already look exotic.I figure might as well go ahead and make our korean ferraris look it.I cant stand when EVERY car has some shitty muffler that sounds special or how every EVERY honda crx has some weird color with funky rims and no body kit with euro tails.And just happens to have some mexican dude drivin it.(nothing against mexicans though).Im more into having ppls heads turn.Whether its the different color,the rims, the shitty paintjob, or whatever it may be.I like the attention.My gf hates it but thats ok.Im kinda goin off topic here but I think the bottom line is do what you think looks good.Just because I go off on weird little bursts of stupidity doesnt mean I urge everyone else to.I put myself in crazy debt for that car and it still looks funky.Trial and error though.Experience comes with time.I also like doing all the work myself.And with that, I appologize
