My wife's Neon finally called it quits, and we have been talking about buying a new car soon anyways, so we headed on down to our local Hyundai dealership and picked this up.
We got if for only about $13k brand new after all the incentives. It's only the 4 cylinder, but it was inexpensive and reliable. It will definitely be at Hyundai Sunday this year.
Guess it's time to join NewTiburon.com too.

Congrats Josh! Is the wife gonna let you mod it out, or does she want to keep it some-what stock?
Some of the nicest kits ever are for that year Tib:

I like the last kit personally, we saw one at HS last year and it is pretty sexy. We are gonna keep it basically stock for a while, we need a reliable daily driver for her, (plus I want to spend the money on my tib first wink1.gif ).
As far as the front plate, NY state will quickly give you a ticket for not having it there, it sucks.

Great car! It cost you only $13k?
So cheap..
There is no Hyundai Coupe (Tiburon) in Polish Hyundai dealers right now - last ones was sold in 2008 and the prize was about €23k (about $30k!).
Now, we are all waiting for Genesis Coupe. BTW, anyone knows how much does it cost in US with 2.0 engine?

Ya, we had to really hunt to find this car. She wanted blue, 4cyl, and the manual trans. Most dealerships only had Silver, automatic, V6's left, but they were like 5 grand more. The sticker on the car was just over 17k, they we got a $3k rebate from Hyundai and a $1k customer loyalty credit, it was a good deal.
It went back to the dealer on Saturday so they could finish the prep on it (it came in at close to 9pm at night and we took it then). The XM didn't work right, and the headlights were full of moisture. When we got it back we noticed that there was a scratch on the passenger door, the passenger window still had tape residue all over it, the child seat bracket cover in the trunk was broken, there was a scratch in front of the shifter, and bulges around the radio surround, *sigh*. Sooo it's gotta go back to get those fixed too.
