^^^
Only reason I got Clears is I was in Korea, so they were dirt cheap. I figured I'd just sell them.
I installed them and the car looks WAY better with them.
The first Gen OEM corners are hideous.

1---Redz quit being an idiot. i know hwo to update my ride, i just haven't/don't really want too.
2---O.P., probably gonna use H&R springs if/when i do lower it. nothing to expensive if i come across a lot of money i'll get a nice coilover setup. but it'll probabyl remain like this for a whiiiiilllllle.
3--I think rd2's look like dog poo. and as for rd1 corners...whenever i get overly motivated i want to tint them all amber. i think that would look siiiiiick with the green car and blacked out headlight housing.

I'm not being an idiot.
I just think it's funny that all this drama is about a very plain and boring looking RD1 with ...
Hmm...
Nothing done to it.
Hey, karma is a biatch.

paint your calipers!!
sharp! the stuff i used from the dealership did not last a day. better off with some meguiars. it's usually $4 per bottle but sometimes go on sale 2 for $4. each bottle lasts a year, the wax, depending on where you live, keeps your car looking like glass up to one month, protects the paint for 4-5 months at a coat.
i didn't like clear corners at first either, but when i saw that the rally car had clear corners i knew i had to get them.

i'm going to this summer...(probably black or silver.
and the reason the "Wax" you got from the dealership did you buy it in the store? it's not the same stuff they get back in detail. at least not at my dealership.
meguiars isn't all that great, it's alright i've used it for a while, decided to switch to zymol...and yes i like it better
redz you just don't get the idea of a subtle clean car. no wings, no altezzas, no rice. no rims bigger than 16's....just fast cars.
and speaking of karma, i'd be careful driving your space ship in stormy weather, you don't want a big gust of wind to catch your "spoiler" and take you off the road.

Wings are OEM so they don't bother me at all. Bleachers do.
Altezzas, I've never really seen one, so I don't know about them. I've heard it's an ugly car though. eyeroll.gif
Get what size rims you want, do what you want to your car.
But the fact is.
Yours is stock. If Stock = Clean, then yes, I guess you have a clean car.
Impressive.
Not.
A fast car isn't "Clean" to me, it's fast. A pretty car isn't fast to me, it's pretty.
A stock car is a stock car.
Hell, yours looks like one I see every day here that some 75 year old woman drives.
Guess I'll go tell her she's got a "Way tyght clean tib yo."

Uhm. Try talking in English, I don't speak Idiot. I don't think my OEM Type R spoiler is going to cause any problems.
