Capped Nuts For My Turbo Manifold
#1
well some of you may have remembered when i said i was going to make those capped manifold nuts so that the studs wouldn't get all rusty, and the nuts wouldn't look like shit.
anyway, i finally had them made, and i sprayed em today with some 1200 degree ceramic paint, and then baked em. i may have to brush and touch em up after putting torque on em.
i think they turned out really good and will make it look a lot nicer than having some rusted nuts and studs there..
heres some pics.. the turbo manifold in the background isnt a new one for me lol, its for a member on here.

i think the thread was m10 X 1.5 just double check off of a manifold nut.</div>
First I would like to start by saying you suck for not thinking of the rest of us.. and the thread should be m10 X 1.25... at least that's the size heli-coil I had to buy today 02.gif

aye, didn't know if you used something special other than mild stuff. I wonder what 99 of them would cost to build, hmmmm?
time for a trip to the machine shop.
