well some of you may have remembered when i said i was going to make those capped manifold nuts so that the studs wouldn't get all rusty, and the nuts wouldn't look like shit.
anyway, i finally had them made, and i sprayed em today with some 1200 degree ceramic paint, and then baked em. i may have to brush and touch em up after putting torque on em. i think they turned out really good and will make it look a lot nicer than having some rusted nuts and studs there.. heres some pics.. the turbo manifold in the background isnt a new one for me lol, its for a member on here. https://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k...1/104_4579.jpg https://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k...1/104_4578.jpg https://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k...1/104_4577.jpg |
Looks good dude, get us some pics of it installed
|
how much will they cost to have made for me?
|
not getting any more of em made, sorry.
|
what material were these made out of man?
oh, and thread pitch, i can figure out the rest |
shyt, they are just made from mild steel, then coated..
i think the thread was m10 X 1.5 just double check off of a manifold nut. |

aye, didn't know if you used something special other than mild stuff. I wonder what 99 of them would cost to build, hmmmm?
time for a trip to the machine shop. |
It seems Speed-Factor's manifolds are still around.
|
Nope not still around I just built it for him cause he asked. laugh.gif
