Anyone going to these shows??
st. louis
knoxville, tn
We want to go but are having trouble getting a hotel and for nationals. You have to be 21 to check-in so it would be helpful if any of you are willing to help us out!!! Even if your not let us know if your going and maybe we will be you there!!

yeah, I'll probably be at the Knoxville one, and a bunch of us are planning on going to the Nationals show, and we hope to have a bunch of members staying at the same hotel, hopefully at a discount.
In the past, when friends have gone, I've put the rooms on my credit card and had everyone repay me. I'm not gonna do that again wink1.gif
My girlfriend's cousin went last year and got a room for him and his wife. They were 18 and never got carded.

Chilhowee Park has had a car show there the last few years, but it hasn't been real big from what I heard.
What IS Chilhowee Park? Is it like a park with a lake or something? Just trying to see what to expect

Chilhowee Park is the fairgrounds for the TN Valley Fair. They also usually have antique car shows there and sometimes motorcycle shows. It's pretty big, but there's nothing in that area- you have to get on the interstate to get to any decent hotels or restaurants. Not to mention that if you go a couple of miles down the road it's on (Magnolia Avenue) you run into complete ghetto (not like College Park, GA, but TN ghetto). Not exactly a safe place to leave your car. Not to mention that Knoxville traffic is hideous and the police are very bad for harrassing (especially since Knoxville is about 5-10 years behind on the whole car trend). Bristol wasn't exactly great, but I have a feeling this is going to be very bad!
