Well, we went to our only car show of the summer, Summer's End at Lacey. It was a good turn out, because of the layout it's hard for me to estimate but probably between 150 and 200 cars I would guess. We've gone 2 other years but we've never won an award.
This year we were there with 3 friends, 2 with Scion tC's and one with a Kia Rio5. As they were announcing awards Rob with the Rio5 won Sport Compact, and Mason with one of the tC's won Teen Choice (he's 19). The Foreign Car award went to some old European car so I pretty much figured our chances were done but we were staying to see who won what, etc. They got down to the final 3 awards, Participant's Choice, People's Choice, and Best of Show. When they announced People's choice, it was car 77, Stacy's 05 Tiburon! We were pretty shocked but very happy. A lot of people came up and talked to us this year and seemed to really like the car, and some of our friends showed up to support us (and voted for us as well). Between our friends and people liking our car we were able to take home a pretty cool award to win, especially for a show with only a hand full of sport compacts and was mostly classics.
Here are some pics:

Yeah the weather turned out nice. though it had rained over night and a little in the am before we left so we had to clean it again once we go there. It ended up being a really great day though pretty windy. I know the guy who owns the Viper. Its an awesome car and rarely leaves the garage. We can't wait to get the hood, top and hatch painted! Its gonna be awesome with the satin on it. We really got a lot of attention there and it was from all different people, from 3 year old girls to 80+ men and women! I don't think I heard a single bad comment so that is awesome too!
