That is the one thing I honestly hate about the entire Hyundai community, (fickle as fickle can be)...no one wants to do things, even when it is free..if they had to pay for it....you would only see maybe 5 people show all together. There is a reported 100+ scions going from southern ohio reigon for the S3...WTF oh well, for all who is going, I will see you there...peace

 

redzman and hammondfra are right. every time we have a meet 20+ people say they will come and only 8-10 show up. just like this. i hate seeing it, but it happens every time and i call it the 40% rule. 40% of the people who say they will come, actually come. i got two more to sign up today and possibly two more on the way. the biggest prob is this event was moved from august, to june, when there are plenty of weddings. i know 3 people who can not come just b/c of weddings.

 

maybe next year, maybe you can talk to them and get it moved back to August or move it to mid July at least....

I'd be there in a heartbeat, from across the friggin country, but there are other meets I've got promised allready. Just not enough money.

 

whatever anyone can do to up the numbers would be appreciated. this really is a fun event. it is a chance to meet your brother/sister tib owners. do whatever you guys can to try to make it.

 

Im tryin man!^^ iv gone up to random tuner cars and some tib owners tellin them about it and handin out a packet of all the info i printed up. i think one girl thinks im crazy lol. saw her car at her work (BP) pulled in told her bout it. said ill bring her up info next time she works lol. saw her car, went up to give it to her but some lady was behind the counter said she went home sick lol with out her car??

Thanks guys. I really appreciate all of your help on this. I have nagged the heck outta a few people and got three more tibs to register yesterday. I found out this is also for elantras so I posted on elantraXD. I think this is going to be the best year yet if we can get everything hyundai together.
