Nov/Dec 2007 the streets of Phoenix will be converted in to one of the 15 host city tracks for CHAMP car world series racing. It's supposed to be one huge "festival of speed" as well as the final race for the 2007 season where the overall champ will be crowned, among other things.

and is the BBQ THIS weekend? I seriously doubt I can make it. My car (not the tib) is currently stuck on top of a 8000ft mountain in the middle of a dry creek bed... (damn 4-wheelin). Flat tire and sort of in an impossibel spot to replace it. Gonna take some handy craftsmenship to get me outta this one. I am carless, so unless by some miracle I can get the car's tire replaced and give it a full tune-up (needs it for a "long" drive like that) by Thursday I will make it. 'Course I'll call ya first and let ya know I'm coming.

Psst, can we put like "Grand Prix Coming to Arizona" instead of what I put under the title? I'm sure you all will hear about this closer to Fall 07' but I want the word out early! :grin:
