REDZ, Yahoo says it's 572.3 miles and 8hrs 30mins. How did you guys do it in 6hrs? Do you use a different route than Yahoo gives?</div>

Depends on the route they give. There's really only one fast way to go, and I'm usually within 7MPH of the speed limit either way. It's a nice drive though, just get over here.

get an mp3 player and a pack of smokes (maybe 4) and the drive will be fine. That's what got me from Seattle, WA to Phoenix, AZ in 24 hours straight, with no AC, in August, going the way that involves traversing Nevada from North to South...

ugh, if only I had a fuggin pink pinata to keep me company....
so instead of candy, I was thinking those little plastic liquor bottles they got at walmart and shit... haha. just don't break any.

Moo it will take you about 7 to 7 1/2 hours if you only make two stops one in flagstaff and one between flag and the queer. I have made that trip about 6 times a year for the past 3 1/2 years.

if you're going to be cruising with me, I'll be stopping about every 1.5 - 2 hours to fill my tank. 60+ mpg has its setbacks. ;(

sorry to rip the thread... no pun intended.. but for all of you who live in ABQ... how do you guys like it. I will be re-locating after this year in college and I want to go south. My boss told me that Mesa Arizona was a nice place but i dont think i could handle it being hot all the time ya kno. The only stipulation to my move is there must be casinos in the area (within 30 or so miles) because that is my career. Thanks for any info. And i would love to come to the BBQ but the ol pickup truck only gets 20 miles to the gallon and I dont have any breaks in school to get out there in. Its kinda hard to skip many classes when you are a senior in college. Thanks guys (just PM me with your thoughts so this thread doesnt get filled up with mumbo jumbo)

It's on a weekend. Grab a cheap flight with Southwest Airlines, probably cost you about $200 round trip if you book soon.

Honestly, check out the other threads where we've posted about it.

ABQ isn't too hot, we are higher than in most of AZ, where they get REALLY hot. if we break 100 degrees, it's rare. Matter of fact, this year is the first time in the past 4 years we've hit 100 degrees in ABQ, and it was for one day. Job market is BOOMING out here, and I know where to look for jobs at the casino's, easy. There are like 5 casino's RIGHT around or in ABQ, so that's not an issue.

Call me if you want more info man.

I don't mind that. Would prefer it actually.

When classes start back up next month, I'm going to ask my teachers if there is going to be a test around this time. If not then I MIGHT be able to fly in for the weekend. But I wont be 21 until May :'(.
