I would like this structure to be followed so i wont have to do as much editing..

I will use radu as an example as accurate as possible from my recollection.

looking at this setup... he has o2 map setup as a wideband, but the stock o2 is narrow band correct?
and whats high level drive do? im confused if he has o21+ wired to his uego than why is he changine the map since it wouldnt effect the computer unless he using a simluator on the eugo and by changing the mpa it changes the simulators communication with the stock ecu.. can u clearify this for me?

I don't know where you are coming up with whatever you just said.. what makes you think I have O21+ wired to my uego or whatever?

Stock O2 sensors are connected to the FIC which can bias them if needed. I only do that under boost (no-boost part of the map is 0% adjustment) for cases where throttle is only opened enough to build a bit of boost, but not enough to make the ECU go into closed-loop "high-load" mode. It doesn't matter at WOT

UEGO is just connected for logging/information purposes.

I don't know exactly what "high level drive" does, I just tried with and without and only worked with it IIRC

By the way, I got better results with higher injector response time (1200us) and stock fuel rail pressure (~40 at idle)

Can you tell me the purpose of tapping the knock sensor(pin 70) to analog a in(24). Thanks

radu_rd2 05-12-2010 06:50 AM

Just so it shows up in logs

Your setup is almost a duplicate of mine ... nice. Anyway, couple of questions.

How are the O2 sensors modified if they're only tapped?

What size resistor and is the tap before or after the resistor?

What are the numbers in Parentheses? Ex: O21 + (24) - ECU side of resistor

Is you front O2 a factory narrow or wide band?

This was great help to me for a semi base map for tuning.
I would just like to add that my car ran like sh*t until the 110.hex firmware was updated on the Fic.
It kept jerking around at low RPM until it seemed like the ecu went into open loop mode.
Anyway so if this ever helps anyone i'd figure id post it here.

glad it helped you get started, and thanks for giving your input on the updated firmware.

i was running 107.hex and had cold start problems, i am now using 104.hex as recommended by aem.

i have 110.hex but i dont know how you came to the conclusion to use it.

Did you try 104.hex?
