would it be worth the money to buy a big bore throttle body and go turbo?

a bigger throttle body might be of benefit by
reducing pressure loss.

theres a couple turbo hyundais around, but havent heard
of anyone experimenting to that degree.

With an Alpine Turbo conversion & larger TB you would have approx 225 bhp, with tuning & ancilliaries you might spend $6000.....Your choice!.

It really depends on what you consider "worth it".

A Bored TB in conjuction with an Onpol worked intake manifold showed 3.2 HP and 3.5 Ft Lbs gain on a N/A tibby.

im just wondering what its going to do for me if i have a bbtb and ported manifold when i go turbo. will it make a big difference with the turbo or just a little?

to be honest, the answer is "unknown".

I'll be testing a BTB and BIM on my Alpine turbo within the next 3 weeks, so we can learn then!

actually random,
batlord has a bored throttle body and i think manifold on his car... hmm... i wonder what kind of gains hes getting from them.
