The unichip does have the ability to control timing to a limited degree.
The Apex ITC can control ignition timing, but only based of RPM, not based off boost.
The MSD DIS-2 does NOT control ignition timing. You would need a MSD-2 Programmable to control ignition timing. You can set individual cylinder timing, boost dependant retard, etc..etc.. For the money, for ONLY igition timing, the MSD-Programmable is the way to go.
However, for tuning, ignition control, boost dependant retard, and general engine managment, the Haltec E6K or E11K are a much better value/option.

The MSD DIS-2 can also retard/Advance timing based on RPM like the APEX-ITC
