Anyone here built their own supercharger and installed it in their car with no issues? Everyone goes turbo but I wanted to see who actually has gone the other route with boost and supercharged their betas.

should be easier if anything, besides finding the parts.. finding the supercharger to bolt on will be the tricky part, and then yield not so much gains..

i think a few people have done it, but not sure on the 'ease' or how they liked it.

Theres superchargers available for the GK Tibs, but when it comes down to the RD series, you're much better off doing a turbo kit. Superchargers wont give you the same amount of power that a turbo will. But there have been some people who built superchargers for around $1,000 if I remember correctly.

I did when I was trying to help Alpine survive in the US. I had created a one off M62 supercharger and manifold. I think its still floating around on the forums somewhere..lol
