What Do You All Think? Turbo Kit
#11
Yeah, Matt needs to definately spell check his HTML. wink1.gif
I talked to him yesterday and apparently the details weren't ready for primetime. My bad. Oh well. He is going to join this forum so he and I can answer detailed questions. As for the 16G it should be 450bhp not whp, and I agree about the 290s secondary not being enough. Matt is running 400cc secondaries right now on his 16g at around 22-24psi. Oh and we talked about using a 18 or 20G in the stage 2 kit last night. smile.gif
Hey Redz, Matt was the guy with the wicked Siver E85 Elantra. smile.gif

I'd definitely use at least an 18g for stage 2, but I'd recommend a 20g if you want efficiency when producing 400+whp. There are also other turbo options available for big power, why use a mits? Keep cost down?

If it is free, I would be happy to be a test subject for this turbo. I spend alot of time working on my car already. I'm also interested in spending hours tuning fuel/spark timing.

Guys and girls^^^, use some common sense, it's not FREE. If a major company isn't doing one for free, what makes you think 2 guys doing kits out of a garage are going to?
Besides DTN, shouldn't you be buying a new clutch again or something?
LOL
DMDicks, how much for the bubble blower sound modification?!?!?

I'm just suggesting that I would be a great candidate to do this as I've got a professional shop with a 4 point lift to work with and have torn apart my engine bay many, many times and would also be using all equipment which comes with the turbo kit. I am also running nitrous so I could really test the kit's abilities.
What kind of price are we looking at for the initial test kit?
And yes, RED ZMAN. I just put in a 3 day pass today to install my new 6 puc ceramic clutch/chrome moly flywheel on the 14th. I also have some other maintenance in that time frame.

Not to be off topic but DTN isn't that professional shop, the Hoppy shop, that every active, retired, reserve military members have access too...cuz i have the same shop fing02.gif so anyone in the military is a good candidate
