Hey all,
after some thinking i've decided to turbocharge my 01 tiburon. The car is stock right now except for the intake which will be comming off after i get my turbo kit. What i need to know is, what is there for me to do before and after i get the kit? Is there anything i should do before i get this turbo? Remember my car is stock and i definatlly wanna do things other then the turbokit. exaust would be nice is that a before or after mod? and what other things can i do? im looking for alot of mod ideas. thanks

I say don't get exhaust yet, get it custom made once u get the kit smile.gif
you could also get clutch, safc, maybe ram air intake, but those are not nessesaties, you could just turbocharge your car and be happy, and then work from that point! thats what i plan on doing!

Well.. Your car is capable of whatever your pocket book is capable of.. If you did a custom engine job w/ standalone, high dollar, you could easily break 10's.. But your talking about 10's of thousands of dollars.. If you are content with 12-13 seconds, get the speed-factor CoMPLETE turbo kit, 1.8 pistons, exhaust, headwork, air-ram, and some DR's..

ok well i guess i'll get the turbo kit and work from there. Now i talked to a guy that works for garrett and he told me they could custom build a kit for me. is that a better idea to do or should i just try and find a turbo kit? like this speed-factor turbo kit.... how much hp am i looking at from that.
