Default Walbro 255Lt fuel pump Talon Turbo

Hey I just got this in today, and I want to install it on sunday.

I opened the packaged and it doesn't come with a power cable. Is the connection universal? or do i have to decker-rig it?

I do believe that you have to also purchase the Hyundai/Mitsubishi fuel pump install kit... I'm not sure about this but I remember reading it on Bredan's install guide. Did you also purchase the fuel pump install kit?

Hey Decker, where did you get your pump from? I got mine from http://AutoPerfomanceEngineering.com and it came with the whole kit and kaboodle. I paid $99.75 for the Walbro 255lph pump. I believe the part # was FPY002.

What kind of gains does this provide? Or is this for turbo type applications only? Doesnt our stock fuel pump make 50-60 psi?

It cuts in and out at about 63psi to protect itself. Also, as pressure increases the flow rate decreases.

Larger fuel pumps with an upgraded wire harness can achieve higher pressures with better fuel flow.
