Remember, CVVT is CONSTANT variable. CONSTANT VARIABLE VALVE TIMING, all it does is allow the timing to be changed a tiny bit, forward and back, to improve emissions.
To do more, you'd have to disable the CVVT (our cams are joined by a chain), and make a new head/cams, controller.
So, if you have about 50,000 dollars, get busy.

We had some guy here, anthony18fa I believe was his name, trying for like a YEAR to get us to help him hook up a VAFC to a CVVT head, hybrided onto a Beta 1 engine, so he could have vtec.
Just simply won't work.

And even if you spent all that money and all that time to actually make it work, you would net about 10whp, maybe ~5 ft*lbs of torque.
and after you dyno it and see the results you realize with all that money you could have professionally built a tib from stock form to like an 11 second turbocharged beast.
then youd be owned.gif as bout as bad as can be wink1.gif

why do you hate VTEC engines? you say it's crap cause it doesn't have torque.
If you compare two engines with the same capacity, 1.6L, one with VTEC, second without. VTEC engine will give you much more fun o drive.
