Thanks UFB!!
Is it possible to get higher compresion Pistons than 8.2:1 ?
Im planning on running no more than 12PSI and would think that 9:1 or 9.5:1 would be better for my application.
Wouldnt Forged Pistons be better though for durability?

We have been able to use 9.0:1 forged pistons with boost pressures upto 15 psi on street fuel and 20 psi on race fuel using a Haltech.
But most of the turbo tibbys run 8.5:1 or 8.0:1 forged pistons.

UFB!!
Since im going with a small Turbo the TD04 with intercooler wouldnt i loose alot of Bottom end but gain in the top end if i go with the 8.2:1 Compression Pistons which you are selling?
What im trying to say is since the TD04 Turbo is small whats the MAX PSI it could handle with Intercooler?
Im thinking 12PSI would be the limit for this Turbo but can you run 15PSI SAFELY AS A DAILY CAR or is that pushing it!!
If i was to run 12PSI on the 8.2:1 Pistons would i loose any low end power?
Thanks!!

I also forgot to mention that im not running a Haltech and understand that anything passed 10PSI the stock ECU wouldnt be able to handle power power.
So if i was to run 10PSI max will the 8.2:1 Compression Pistons be to low!!
In other words when are these Pistons required at what boost without losing alot of low end sad.gif
