Twin Turbo Delta 6????
man, thats pathetic.
CNK was a load of ****, and still is.
He could easily deliver them a TT setup, running a whole 5psi lol
But umm...I dont see a single turbo on a V engine. Isthat just a lot of complicated plumbing?
Sure they convert the Supra and rx7 to single turbo, the Supra is an i6 and the rx7 is a rotary.
But a true v6 motor? I am sure it been done..but is it really worth it?
also I thinka TT setup would be more streetable.

Ignorance is bliss I guess... *sigh*
The v6 people usually stay twin turbo. Why? Becuase there's no goddamn room under the hood to run piping around from the exhuast to the turbo in an efficient manner on most V6 imports. About the only exception i can think of off the top of my head is the Grand National boys, but they came stock with a single T3 and usually upgrade to a T4 and up. Most Z car kits and most stealth/3000GT kits are twin upgrades.
Kirk, twins will spool faster so long as you keep the turbo's small enough. Like using two TD04-9B turbos (stock 3000GT), those turbos are sooooooo tiny that even the stock accent can easily flow right out of those turbo's efficiency range.
OH, and most of the 3000GT guys never get more than 400whp. Why? Traction, tranny, and $$$.

Think transverse mount vs longitunital mount. I can't think of a single transverse mount V6 that uses twin turbos. Compare apples to apples, and you'll see the light. wink

As Samba GS-R pointed out...the 3000GT uses 2 turbos and is transverse mount. You learn somethin new every day!I can't think of a single transverse mount V6 that uses twin turbos.
