It's not that we don't share performance mods, or even cheap performance mods. It's that we don't want people to waste their money.
There are plenty of cheap, PROVEN mods out there.

The "theory" of an electrical supercharger is not that far fetched. Someone on this board some time ago also came up with a similar idea. They were to use a small (4") electrical fan that could move 1200 CFM, and power it off "sheet capacitors". The Capacitors would charge slowly off the battery, then when you flipped the switch, would power the electric fan for 15 to 30 seconds (depending on the number of capacitors.)
I dunno what ever happened to the idea, but it was a good, workable idea in theory. How cost effective it would be is still a big question. How to tune your engine for "momentary" Boost of up to 15 psi was another large question.
But in theory...it should have given you semi-serious boost when you wanted it...similar to nitrous. You would have had to deal with a 2-5 minute recharge time for the capacitors before you reused the system again.
BV1- if you can, just make sure you install the e-ram AFTER the MAF sensor. MAF sensors do NOT like pressure waves, and you can do damage to your MAF by running it on the pressureized side of the system. This may require a tad bit more customization on your part to get the E-RAM to fit, but it might save you from having to replace your MAF. Also make sure you can get your money back, and the money for the dyno tests.

Yeah, I planning on mounting it behind the MAF, I dont need anything burning out on me, I already have a full breather system, but whats nice about the E-ram is that the S-AFC can be programmed to run a special program at WOT the compensates for the E-ram. Need more fuel! It will take some tuning, but I will see what I can do.

The S-AFC reads the TPS as well, and you can insert a subprogram to run a special fuel curve at a certain TPS setting. So at 98% and up TPS I could run the extar fuel program to increase fuel to the cylinders. You can get the manueal at

The idea for the s-afc is sound.
For those who don't know how the s-afc works, here's a breif run-down.
The s-afc has a high and low throttle point.
or stages. below low throttle (say 10%), it runs stock air readings, above the low throttle, it runs the low-throttle stage of mods(mild-fuel conserving), and above the high throttle(say 75%) it runs the high-performance-gas-is-cheap-now stage. It may be a pipedream but its a nice one wink
So technically the eram could be tuned with a s-afc to get propper readings. ALSO, you could use the external relay in the RSM-GP to trigger the eram at certain RPM,Speed,powerlevel etc etc. Sweet, i may get one to test as soon as BV1 gets his and give us his opinion.

I'm really hoping that your Eram delivers. I have been in communication with RPW and will be ordering a dual throttle body intake manifold in the next couple of months. (I'm actually waiting on some insurance money and will be doing all my mods at once.) Obviously I will need an Eram on each intake tube to create positive pressure, so that's what I'll get. Oh Darn smile.gif
This, of course is contingent on your dynos - no pressure or anything. However, your 0-60 gains on the accent sound pretty good. Keep up the good work

PC Fans hahaha. oh well, I have ALOT of 60mm fans, maybe you guys can buy it off me for 300 bucks each rather than spending 300 bucks buying 2 60mm fans with a power converter. Heck, I think I could make one for less than 10 bucks. Or even better, I'll throw in 2 80mm fans instead! tongue.gif
