Default Twin Turbo!!!

Hey guys, a couple of days ago I came across a product called the "Turbo Zet" for the Lanos. I believe that it is an electric turbo charger. The site claims that it increases HP by up to 40%. The thing only sells for $300, but it sounds too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with this product, because I would really like to know if it is bogus or not. Thanks for the help.

People will also say just about anything for a couple bucks.

This topic has been beaten to death, and well I think about 99% of the board will agree, don't waste your money, spend it on other things.

I think Random said it best...

"Why don't you just hook a Leaf Blower up to your IM?"

you know the leaf blower sounds kinda ghetto but it actully works. i have done that its cool. it gave me about 8lbs of boost. you need to get a power converter (i just got a cheep one just as long as it will be capable of pushing the blower) and run that on a switch. only do it at full throttle. insted of turning it on and off you can go down and get a small push button and hook a flat plat to your throttle cable so the button is pushed at full throttle and turns on blower then when you let off the throttle the button is released and it turs off. hard wire the power converter to your battery insted of using your ac adapter.

You can actully fell the differance

sounds interesting
lets see if it works when you get it

but it costs almost the same as a big bore throttle body

perhaps even a bit more

8lbs? Seems a bit high for your typical leaf blower, even the best commercial Toro only puts out 215 CFM on max output and thats with a 12 amp current draw. You would be luck to see 1 lb in pressure before your car battery dies, besides, I am not even going to start on the resistrictions in air flow during normal driving conditions that would of occurred by having that installed on your air intake. rolleyes.gif

Dude...the only electrically-assisted turbochargers in existance are still in the experimental stages and are made by Greddy...there is nothing like the real thing. If you spent $$$ on a dud product, would you tell others you fell for the ploy and bought the product in the first place?
