I plan on turboing my car soon (obviously its an auto) and I need to know what things I'd have to do before getting the whole turbo kit installed. I have a brand new transmission installed in my car but I heard that I might have to get an upgrade of some sort. Any info you guys can give me would be really helpful. My dad would be doing the whole install being that hes a mechanic (id try and help out as well) so luckily I wouldnt have to worry about the labor too much. I have the means to do this performance upgrade and its sort of been a big wish of mine to go turbo. Thanks guys.

You should get an Automatic transmission cooler.

It keeps the trans cooler than the stock method and is cheap and effective.

the best upgrade you can make on your auto transmission is to do the auto to manual tranny swap. wink1.gif

i dont know of one turbocharged automatic tib, and ive heard of some problems with the auto trannies on stock tibs. i wouldnt trust it.

Speed-Factor.. didn't he turbo his auto?

I believe it was 17PSI too.

Do a search, it's been shown that autos can handle boost.

And/or ask Alex.wink1.gif JK.
