Dutch,
where you at in NJ? If you are anywhere down near the southern part of the state.. I might see if I can take a day or two and give you a hand.

i just talked to the guy on the phone today... it seems like he is not gonna give me the whole car... but im still gonna try to get it... cause i dont think he is fixing it...

he said 2000 for motor and auto trans... motor has 50 k on it... turbo has 10k

the turbo is an alpine kit with no intercooler

whats ur opinions on this... worth it? not worth it? my car has 85k on it and the trans is hurtin... syncros seem to be goin bad... hard to get into first sometimes and somtimes a grind will occur while shifting... should i rebuild trans b4 putting motor in?

im takin a big hit on cash if i get this... so i want to make shure this is gonna be a good deal...

if i do buy this i will be selling the auto trans... ill keep you guys updated...

thanks for your help

for one...I think you need to fix your transmission anyways. two, sounds like a great deal. the basic alpine kit is like 2000 alone. if you get the motor, the kit and his transmission...lol I think your ripping him off. hell, sell the transmision, fix yours and spend the rest on one of airborn's ecu swaps instead of using the unichip
