Um...how do you "turn off" the s/c?
Sorry I don't know enough about cams to give you an answer.

Sounds like unchartered territory. I haven't seen many s/c setups with modified cams. Regrind...is that down from a 264 or is there a shorter one?

It is very easy to turn a supercharger off. Many OEM superchargers have this feature.

You put a clutched pulley (electromagnetic) on the S/C that way when you WANT the supercharger it's there, and when you don't, you won't have the parasitic drag.

AC condensors have clutched pullies on them, so they are NOT a "new" thang.

I would Hit up RPW. David will reccomend something for ya, even if he has to make it special.

BTW...yes, SC cams are different from Turbo Cams. SC's can tolerate more valve overlap due to the lack of exhaust backpressure. Due to the HIGH backpressure inherent in turbocharged setups, they require very little/no valve overlap.

depending on how much boost you're running i'd probably go with 268/264 or 264/262 with a 10.2-10.5mm lift, but thats just my opinion...it should give you a better low-mide range curve than 272's that everyone always says to go with. the power will be smother rather than a late kick associated with 272's

dont get me wrong 272's are great but if your redline is low, 7k and below, your useable power curve is just too late/ to much of a blip compared to the rev range of the engine/ useable range associated with the combinations i listed above.
