well yesterday i was coming from school, and sudenly i just fell a great lost in power.
i pull over and start checking for charge pipes everything was ok.
i get into the car and start driving, all i know its that the car does not boost anymore, but i can drive the car and i also dont hear any noises coming from the turbocharger. i took out the exhaust and charge pipe to check if the shaft was broke or something, i also checked the wastegate and everything its ok. i think the bearings got fried up, cause when i took the feed oil line off there was to pieces of alumminun sitting on the top restriction of the feed line....

now where can can i get a gt28- gt30 turbocharger?

trying to run 15 pounds, no more then 300 hp.

Someone on here was selling a turbo yanked from another car just a little bit ago for like $125.

If the metal was sitting in the feed line, then it didn't come from the turbo. It came from the motor. And if it's big enough to see, then it never hit the oil pan because the oil pump screen and filter would have trapped it. Check your motor before you put on another turbo and burn that up.

^^ Jon seems logical to me. Dunno where to start looking, but losing chunks of metal isn't the greatest thing.

You have any detonation problems? What exactly is your setup?
