Turbo Mounted
instead of having the intake piping go all the way from the turbo on my drivers side to the passengers side to go to the intercooler.. do you think i can fit my 50trim turbonetics turbo the other way so i have my downpipe towards the drivers side and the outlet of hte turbo closer to the intercooler? ive been looking at pics but i cant get a good look at some of them..
Ye, I'm pretty sure the oil pan will get in the way. You could always make/get someone to make an oil pan that would get around that, but its probably more trouble than its worth unless you want it that way.

air flow is made a lot less significant by the turbo since it compresses the air in the pipes rather than it "flowing" through. does that make sense?
shorter piping reduces lag and i guess then adds hp a bit earlier, but as JonGTR said, losing 8" will not be that significant

i have hte winter ahead of me.. my tiburon is not my daily driver, and i know that much less tubing is probaly not even gunna get me 1 hp but if i start letting little stuff go like that, then i could be robbing myself of some serious hp numbers... i want my car the best it can be, not "oh eyah its kinda fast wiht a turbo".... i dont wanna buy any part and slap it on becuase it says "GUARENTEED 40 HP GAIN!!!" i want to research the amount of spark i need, the minimum amount of fuel i need, and my temp and restrictions in my air flow... thats the reason i recently joined this forum, to get the most out of my car
and hte way your talking, if i want good airflow all i have to do is but a turbo on it and not worry about cam duration or head porting or anyhting liek that........... sorry if im sounding like a dick but i just want my car to be the best it can and not done sh!tty
every bit of small detail will definatly make your car

isn't this thread about the piping? you asked the piping question, you got your answer. now it's your call on what you want to do, make a custom oil pan, or simply use 8 more inches of pipe.
i think you're getting ahead of yourself talking about adding cams and stuff.
1 step, 1 thread at a time bro.
and please start using the spellcheck feature, i hate reading things that looked like a drunk person typed them.
