Default Turbo Manifolds.

OK,

I decided to make a new post because of so many questions I had. I hope the moderators don't mind.

Sorry it took so long. But I had to call around.

The Beta cast manifold with a mount for an external wastegate (Turbonetics) to fit a T3 GARRETT exhaust housing is $400 + shipping. I could get it for $350 with 10 orders...

The Champion Beta cast manifold without a mount for an external wastegate to fit a T3 GARRETT exhaust housing is $300 + shipping.

I will try to get a picture of the external wastegate manifold.

Cheuk- I know that they have tubular steel equal length turbo manifolds available in korea. How much does they go for? (JUN B.L. Club Gorilla and 7ism are the names I know carry them).

The tubular TURBO manifolds are all custom jobs. One offs. About $1000 each. Now 7ism, JUN BL and Gorilla do make very nice headers. I especially like 7ism's setup.

The tubular turbo manifolds are all custom because of the contortions the piping has to go through in order to fit a large turbo in the engine bay... almost every single large turbo car runs an unique manifold / turbo / piping setup. The only exception that I can think of is the Carex and a twin black car that carex built for another shop... same everything.

The last couple of Korean Mags I have seen, all three had ads that showed pics of tubular steel turbo manifolds. All listed T25/T28 as applications that fit that manifold. (or at least I'm assuming. I can't read the korean, but I can read the "T25" or "T28" under the photos.) Neither of those two turbos is so big as to require a "custom" header to get it to fit in the engine bay, so I just assumed they were peices that the companies stocked.

Granted, the magazines were all a year old (or more), so maybe it was somthing they tried, and found there was no market for.

Here are the photos of the CG unit

That's the type that I was looking for, but damn 1k is a little too steep when the rest will run me 3.2k... if you can find one around the 450-600 range Cheuk I might wait for that one...

You are right neither the T025 / T028 / T3 need custom bend manifolds for clearance. The cast manifolds work as well... maybe better for durability but... the latest trend is to make it look cool like the drag racers using the large turbos. So some guys opt for custom bent manifolds at $1000 a pop... but when you are paying $10K for a complete turbo setup. $600 extra doesn't mean alot to these rich boys.

Got to remember that turbocharged Tiburons are the cars that millionaire's son's drive in Korea.

But in general custom bent piping is for the drag racing Tibbies.. most of the street turbo tibbies run cast manifolds. These companies may "stock" them but at $1000 a piece.
