I have owned my 01 Tiburon for a few months now and enjoy drving it. I bought it so I could have a sports car that also gives me a little MPG. I am a college student in my final year and money is tight. I wanted to get some idea of were to look for a complete turbo kit and what you guys think I could pay for one that would give me just a little more HP. I really don't want to tear into the engine. In otherwords, keep my daily drive reliable.

A good turbo kit will cost you $2 and some pocket lint.

Or it could cost you eleventy billion $$$ if you really wanna go balls to the wall crazy with it...

Damn, sucks being broke. Summer job will be for the mods in the fall. Good luck with the sale though. Iam going to try to make about 75 to 100 HP max but thats on a budget and only want to have some fun on the street.

Well, clearly you need to do your homework. $2000 is on the low end of what you should be expecting to pay for a good, reliable turbo kit and all extra stuff you will need along the way. It's a lot more involved than sticking on some shiny piping and a new manifold. You can piece it together to save money, but don't expect to find a complete turbo kit at a cheap price.

Are you totally stock right now? Maby you should try some small easy MODs before you go boosted. Quickest bang for you buck may be NOS, DTN is the only one I know thats Zex boosted. Its got it pros and cons though.
