Turbo Help:Hesitation under load

It's probably going to be a requirement to get a wideband to tune it properly, even sort of properly. If not, it's like doing surgery with the lights turned off.

Vehicle: 1998 Hyundai Accent
Picked up NGK BRK6E-11 plugs, and gapped them to .035 vs .040 which is how it was when i bought it..
and no more hesitation problems at all.
low RPM WOT pulls produced no hesitation/cutting out/backfire/shotgun/smoke at all.
actually.. no matter what rpm i was in... the car drove just fine!
actually took boost upto 9psi for a short drive or two.. and even at 9psi.. i get no cutting out or hesitation at all.
took it back down to 7.5 just to be safe till i tune or at least get a wideband though.
