Default Turbo Help:Hesitation under load

Hey all..

so i was driving to work today... ripped it decently 1-2-3..

1st gear.. great.. i hit 2nd.. stomped on it.. and it's like the car hesitated under full load in bottom of 2nd gear.. then cleared up in 3-400rpm later.

Fuel Filter?
Ignition breakup?

Was the car warmed up? If not that's a common issue with Accents.

its too much fuel...i had the EXACT same issue when I went to the track a year ago...costed me some good times too...
could have hit 15.2 or less at 6 psi but it bogged and hessitated from 2k untill reaching 3,200 rpm then it just took off.

how do i fix it? Lool

ive got a BEGI RRFPR.. but no fuel gauge.. and no instruction manual on how to adjust it.

i know there's a top bolt that is adjustable like a conventional fpr.. and theres a needle valve on one end with a little teenie weenie nut.

http://www.bellengineering.net/product_inf...p;products_id=1

its either that one. or the one for "aftermarket turbo cars" which looks identical.

Dude I have been "working on it" for a year now...get a stand alone and tune it...there's no other way. But yeah raise the boost about 1 psi and see if it helps.

heres a crazy idea then...if you cant completely get a wideband

go to a dyno that has a wideband

then you know how much hp your pushin plus get a reading on what your a/f looks like

the local one here charges like 85 bux

ok. so i took the car for a few spins, WOT top of 1st.. hesitated.. and sounded like shotguns going off, threw a huge cloud of black smoke, and took off like mad.

loud as sh*t.. and im positive if not for my cat.. it would've shot flames.
