Sure it's possible. I can easily hit over 100 psi with less than 10psi in the exhuast manifold.

Its as simple as letting off the throttle.
Wastegate opens, dumping all pressure in the exhaust manifold (or nearly all) and the boost spike caused by the close throttle will revert back to the turbo, then bounce back to the throttle body. If you've got the right setup with no BOV, you'll get a boost spike easily over 100psi. Which is why boys and girls...we have BOV's.

Random that was a good explaination, but he said it IS possible, its just not easy.

I also remember from reading those posts awhile back that the 1.8 cam is not a good thing with a turbo setup.

LOL, random u smartass haha

and yah dub i remember that too, but i dont think anybody has tried it i think it was just a guess. if anybody has actual information about the 1.8L cam that would help.

if whoever said they were gonna do it does it, hopefully we'll know for sure.
