Default Is this true?

A friend of mine has built 4 or 5 turbo set ups for different cars. We were talking the other day and I told him that I plan to go turbo one day. He was saying if turbo is my long term goal, to keep in mind that boost pressure in the manifold lowers your effective fuel pressure so a return fuel system will give you better fuel delivery and pressure regulation. Can someone confirm this for sure?

havent boosted any beta 2s before

but generally converting to a return style from what i hear makes life a hell of a lot easier

not like its hard....run a fuel line back to the tank, tap the fuel pump cover

He's correct. The boost pressure pushing against the injectors can lower your overall fuel pressure so you'll need a way to increase the fuel pressure under boost to maintain a constant pressure level. You don't have to convert to a return style fuel system though. There are devices called Boost A Pump that increase voltage to the fuel pump under boost to compensate for the boost pressure.
