12.5 is way to lean for daily driving and pump gas...

as for the decompression gasket its not the best way to lower compression but it does work and is said to fine for 300whp

I dont see why a decompression plate wouldn't work. I'll be running 10psi daily, so I believe you should be fine. But if 12:5 isnt a good combo, then what it for daily?

We've had a lot of discussions about decompression plate and many people were against it, but for 250-260whp I think you'll be just fine.

You said that you want to get this done and stop messing with a car for a while, but this will never happen. Once you go turbo, the project will never be finished. So, if you don't want to have a headache with car breaking and so on, I'd recommend you just put a 75 shot of nitrous and use it when you want some power smile.gif

I'd just enjoy what you have now. How much power are you putting down now? Over 200whp? Should be enough for you smile.gif

I just don't tthink it's worth the trouble if you aren't gonna do it the right way.

You already know the risks about running richer for a long period of time. Fouling cats and plugs, bad gas mileage, etc.

Why not run 8psi for the moment, keep it tuned well, and wait for the funds to come in to do it the right way?

i agree with ham. thats what i'm doing. I don't have an emanage and all like you though. I'm just going to be running an fmu 12:1.

ImportShark!
Like GAry says 11.5 all the way through is PERFECT A/F and this is what i have as well running 16psi
Keep in mind bro that 12.5-13 is normally for N/A and 12.5 is to lean man.........
You have to take into consideration that on a cool day when you blast the car you will defently run lean at 12.5 because of the weather change.Thats why you tune a bit on the rich side to compensate for this
Dont risk it and tune for 11.5 not work the headaches man.......... sad.gif
