tightening of bov
I have a blitz bov for my car right now and I wanted to know if there is any effect on performance depending on how loose/tight it is adjusted ? Is there any way to tell when it is adjusted properly? My tunning wont be based on "how cool and loud" it can be. Just looking for maximum performance. Anyone have an answer or special way you adjust yours let me know thanks in advance.

What brand/model do you have? RTFM What works on one might not work on yours.
I see you said you have a BLITZ. Try this. Not sure if that's your model.
Remember....The Waste-gate controls your boost pressure. The BOV only vents pressurized air when you close the throttle and the turbo is still spooling, forcing pressurized air into a closed throttle body! If you want more boost, adjust your waste-gate, not your BOV! You should NEVER REALLY need to adjust a BOV. There's not much to them to really fiddle with. If it opens when you close the throttle..and stays closes when the throttle is open, it's working and shouldn't be horked with.
If you're talking about your WASTE-GATE... RTFM Always RTFM
Usually, Waste-gate's just have a set nut and then a Allen head screw to adjust the pressure on the diaphragm. WHEN it opens is adjusted by the nut/Allen screw. Some High end Waste-gate's allow you replace/swap out one spring for another than is harder/softer, but that's about it.
If you are going to adjust your WASTE-GATE with the Nut/Allen method, you'll need a good air gauge and a source of low pressure air. If you adjust the nut/Allen screw...did you just make it open @ a lower pressure or higher pressure? RTFM If you don't have a manual, that's why you'll need an air pump and gauge. IMHO, you'll want that anyway, as you want to confirm you didn't dial it up to 500psi or .5psi.
