How to inspect a used turbo?
Going to check out a used turbo, wastegate, and BOV with a friend and wanted to know what I need to look for, for each of those 3 pieces.

Ahhh, the warm glow of a sardonic reply. But seriously, LMGTFY is boss.
As far as the turbo goes, I'd check for shaft play, busted gasket surfaces, clipped/damaged compressor and turbine blades, and if possible, I'd run some oil through it to check for leaks. I'm by no means an expert on the topic, but that is just all of the crap that is wrong with my own turbo...
