i was just wondering if t3/t4 turbos are equivalent to t3/t04 or t3/t04b turbo systems. ive seen some t3/t04s for sale, but i know i need a t3/t4 to fit my manifold and wasnt sure.
please give me some help. also, would and ihi t3/t4 be the same as a garret t3/t4?

ihi doesn't make a t3/t4. t3/t4's are exclusively garrett. t3/t04 is the same as t3/t4. t04 and t04b are different sizes. check out www.turbonetics.com for compressor maps and specs for the different turbines and compressors. however, there are countless sites that will provide you this info. just search.

so these are just garret turbos?
also, could u tell me the difference between the t3/t4 and a t3/t04b etc... like for my turbo project, which would be ideal? around 250-275 horsepower. thanks for the help turbulence.

 

those are both ihi turbos....like they said, they are "equivalent" to t3/t4's. you need to email the sellers and ask what the actual ihi model numbers are, and then look at compressor maps. if you're doing a turbo project, the first thing you need to do is read maximum boost. you'll be able to figure out how many cfm's you need from the turbo and chose a turbo accordingly...and you'll learn everything else you need to know to get you to your goal.
